Not suitable for 3D gaming but perfect for 2D applications. The Trio 3D integrated the graphics core, RAMDAC and clock generator into one package to reduce manufacturing costs. Effectively the Trio 3D is the 128-bit successor of the S3 ViRGE/GX2.
