Avance Logic 'ALG2032'
A nice little card with the Avance Logic ALG2032 chip on it. Equipped with only 1MB RAM but has spare slots to upgrade to 2MB in order to unlock higher resolutions/bit-depths.
Performance-wise it run good in DOS. It outperforms the S3-based cards in Doom but is not always faster in SVGABench. For DOS-games that run in VGA-resolution this card seems to be a fine choice.
Avance Logic was bought by Realtek in 1995. The chip on this card is made in the 13th week of 1996 so apparently they continued to sell Avance Logic cards for a while after the merger. > Read more
