VIA 'Esther'
The VIA Eden ULV 500 is an ultra low voltage x86 CPU that was launched in August 2007. VIA claimed it uses just 1 watt of energy to operate. This particular CPU is fitted on an EPIA-N700-05E motherboard that, in total, will not consume more than 10W of energy. The VIA C7-M is a 90nm mobile processor. It uses the same mPGA479 socket as Banias and Dothan Pentium M's but it won't run on Intel's 855PM chipset. You'll need VIA's own chipsets (VN800, VN600 and VN600-M) to run this chip. > Read more
