The Venus Solitaire is a small PCI card that is based on the OAK Spitfire chipset. Spitfire sounds like a name for a performance-product but OAK never had performance chipsets in the past and the Spitfire isn't an exception on this. It's performance in Doom is sub-par; every S3-card outperforms is by quite a margin. When running SVGABench it really shows that the card doesn't have enough oomph to be able to handle the bandwith needed for SVGA.
