The AMD K6-III 400 is basically a K6-2+ with 256KB L2-cache. The K6-2+ 'only' has 128KB L2-cache. In reality the 128KB L2-cache is just fine for an AMD K6-2. As you can see in the benchmarks a 50MHz faster clock easily makes up for an additional 128KB L2-cache.
