AMD Opteron 4365 EE

This AMD Opteron looks nice with it's grey / silver packaging. With that it differs from most CPU's: this CPU has a coreless package. It means that the organic substrate (PCB-like layer) is absent in order to reduce production cost, smaller packaging and less electric resistance. The latter also results in the possibility for higher speeds between the CPU-core and the motherboard.

Of course the advantages come with disadvantages: it's more difficult to manufacture and manufacturing streets have to be converted to adapt to this technology.
