AMD K6-2 400AFQ

Performance-wise this K6-2 400 AFQ CPU is identical to the AMD K6-2 400 AFR but it has a 10 degree Celsius lower maximum operating temperature. The AFR can handle up to 70C whereas the AFQ can handle up to 60C.

I guess that the AMD K6-2 400 was the more popular model of the AMD K6-2 line. It performed reasonable in general office use (with generally ALU-mathematics) but for gamers it wasn't the best choice. It's FPU is rather weak compared to the Pentium II and Celeron. In the Quake 2 software-rendering benchmarks (which are FPU-intensitive) you can see that it performs at Pentium II 233 / Celeron 266 levels.
