Matrox Millennium G450

A Matrox Millennium G450 with single DVI output. These cards came in different shapes and forms: I have both PCI and AGP versions. Some with two D-SUB (VGA) outputs, some with both D-SUB and DVI and with variations in memory type (SD vs SG RAM).

Matrox used adhesive thermal interface material to mount the heatsinks on their chips. It takes a fair amount of force to pop the heatsinks off and in all cases, except this one, I could successfully remove the heatsink. Either I was unlucky or this series of cards has stronger adhesive applied. Nevertheless; be careful when removing the heatsinks on these cards ;).
