ASUS V7700 /32M
A decent performer in it's day. It was ASUS' 'big upgrade' over the V6600/32M: the transisition from GeForce to GeForce 2.
The GeForce 2 GTS is a 0.18 micron version of the GeForce (which is 0.22) with again 4 rendering pipelines. However, new is that the GTS can render two textures in one clock rather than one texture. NVidia upped the clockfrequencies, improved the chip and improved the T&L engine.
Cards like the GTS, Ti and Ultra were a good choice in it's day. Eventually the GeForce 3, and quickly after, GeForce 4 came along and the faster models of the GeForce 2 disappeared. The much slower MX-variants stayed until the GeForce 4 MX was widely available.
