Morse CL- GD510A/520A
The GD510+GD520 is Cirrus Logic' second SVGA compatible chipset and superseded the GD410+GD420 that was released the year before. Back in the day Cirrus Logic didn't have a single-chip solution which resulted in two chips connected together. The GD510 is the Graphics/Attributes chip and the GD520 is the Sequencer/CRT Controller.
The chip markings indicate the maximal clockfrequency. CL-GD520A-32PC-A means that the 520 chip can run at 32MHz, uses a 84-pin PLCC plastic chip with a 'C' class temperature range and revision 'A' of the chip. Keep in mind that manufacturers could've fitted 40MHz chips but clocked them lower. In other words: also check the oscillator crystal to determine the real frequency.
The cards are designed to run with 4 64K memory planes, good for 256KB RAM total with 32-bit RAM access.
