Landmark System Speed Test Version 6.00 made by Landmark Research International Corporation. It benchmarks your system and tries to relate the speed of your system to an AT system. A somewhat weird method of indicating performance because a PC has many factors that 'make' performance and especially software has many factors that affect/use performance. In the old days this benchmark was used more often than nowadays (there are better alternatives available) but since it's a classic I adopted it in my benchmarks as well
.
Nevertheless this benchmark runs fine on XT-class systems and therefore it's suitable to benchmark even the oldest x86 systems and compare them with other XT-class systems. In the benchmarks I note the so called 'AT speed' in MHz. I use this benchmark for 8088 to 386 class CPUs.
Keep in mind that all my benchmarks are done with Landmark 6.00, not 2.00.
