Version: 1.0
The PC Player 3D Benchmark is a well known benchmark in the retro community. It's programmed by Markus Oberrauter in 1996 and handles high resolution VESA modes. It defaults to 640x400x8 but I benchmark at 640x480x8 (to follow Phil's Benchmark Suite). To run at this resolution you have to start PCPBENCH.EXE with the 101 parameter. So basically you start: pcpbench 101.
The benchmark will render a 3D environment and show its progress in the right lower corner. Once it completes one loop a number in FPS will appear. This number will also be shown when you exit the benchmark. The benchmark will loop forever, unless you specify /ONCE as parameter.
