Despite that both the VolariDUO and Volari V8 cards have been for sale in the retail market, not much XGI cards are around. I bought this card on a fair in 2005. It's made by WMA, a company without a name nor website. I bet WMA consists of two persons sitting at home, drinking a beer, finding out there were a few thousand Volari V3 chips in stock. A few moments later they managed to get cards ready and sell them.

My second WMA Volari V3 card. I found it cheap somewhere .
The Volari V3 is derived from the Trident XP4, which never made it to the market. It's a DirectX 8.1 compliant chip with low power consumption (and low performance ).
