I have a couple of OTI O37C-based cards. Some of them are 8-bit ISA and some of them are 16-bit ISA. However I haven't found any performance differences in them. Looking at the card configurations I notice that all 512KB models are 16-bit so it's probably just matter of addressing space.... > Read more
A 16-bit OTI 037 card supplied by HEDAKA. It's not a very fast chip but it does it's job reliable. Read more here.... > Read more
Pretty much the same as this 16-bit OAK OTI 037C but with a smaller PCB. Performance-wise it's almost identical but Vidspeed scores just one point slower and Doom is 00.015FPS slower. It almost falls into the category of deviation, however, the card is consi... > Read more
An outdated chipset with 8-bit interface mounted on a 16-bit board. Benchmarks also point out that the 16-bit version performs identical to the 8-bit version (actually the 8-bit seems to be one fraction of a millisecond faster).
Being not too expensive and having a fair compatibility, the OAK car... > Read more
This little 8-bit VGA-card needs some time before it's BIOS is initialized in my Pentium 100 system with QDI Explorer II motherboard. The other 16-bit cards also needed some time but seem to work fine in an 286 system.
The OTI 037C works fine, but is really a budget chip. See the benchmarks where... > Read more
A small OTI 067 card from the early 90'ies. My guess is that this one has been shipped with 256KB and upgraded afterwards because it has two different sets of RAM modules.
Noticeable performance gain compared to the previous 037C chipset. Now it's able to outperform the Paradise PVGA1A-JK.
