AMD Sempron 3000+

A budget CPU for 2005. The Sempron 3000+ was released on April 2005 for socket 754. It succeeded the Sempron 2500+, 2600+ and 2800+.

In terms of performance the Sempron 3000+ and 3300+ were quite alright. Especially when paired with a fast harddrive and 1GB of RAM.

All the S754 (and S939) Semprons run fairly cool. With Cool'n Quiet enabled (which lowers clockfrequency and voltage when idle) these CPU's use very little power.
