This benchmark runs a series of tests and seems to indicate general performance. It doesn't stress a specific part of the processor so the results aren't representative for 3D-games like Quake or Half-Life or any other specific task/application. I will use this benchmark for CPU's between Pentium 100 and Duron 1100. A bigger scope is not practical due to score limitations in the benchmark.

My benchmark method

Launch the application and click the second (graph) icon. Wait for a while and you'll get a score. Keep in mind that scores starting from 10.0 are invalid because the program can't provide you with higher scores than 10.
