Intel i486 DX50

A 1992 486DX-50; a good performer back in '92 but with a high front side bus (FSB) which could be troublesome. The DX2/50 which runs at 25MHz FSB (clock-doubled) won't give you trouble but due the slower bus speed it will be slower with games or I/O. How much slower? See this link in which I benchmark another DX-50. The red bar shows DX-50 scores, the grey bar DX2-50 scores.

Benchmarks are run on a Biostar 8433UUD-A that runs the DX-50 at 33MHz PCI and DX2-50 at 25MHz PCI.
